Do you like vampires? How about sorcerers and wizards that can open locks with a simple charm? How about an undead skeleton that throws fireballs? If you said yes to the the first two and no to the last then congradulations you scored a hundred percent on our SHOULD-NOT-READ-THIS-BOOK test. That's because in this book being a vampire is frowned upon and non-elemental sorcerers (called adepts) have a nasty tendency to be evil. If you said yes to the last one though there's hope for you yet.
     Skulduggery Pleasant is about Stephani Edgley and uncle Gordon's friend skulduggery. He's a walking talking , fireball shooting skeleton. And he's the good guy. After her uncle Gordon died she inherited his mansion. No suprise since she was his favorite neice. What is a suprise is when she goes there nd someones broken in. The intruder is asking her about some ancient artifact. When she won't tell(because she doesn't know) he tries to kill her. Then she is rescued by none other than Skulduggery Pleasant.
     This is a great bookk and I'd love to tell you more but I might spoil it. What I like about this book is that even out numbered and out gunned they still can make jokes. I highly recomend this book. You won't be able to set this book down until you finish.
